Critical Review of Mexican journalist Armando C\u00e1ceda de Tijuana, referring to the Solo Exhibition of Margareth Degeling, The Netherlands,\u00a0 which was held in \u201cGaler\u00eda de la Ciudad\u201d,\u00a0 Tecate M\u00e9jico, 2007 :<\/p>\r\n


\u201cMe pregunto qui\u00e9n es Margareth Degeling. Quiero imaginar su taller sin cerradura.<\/p>\r\n

D\u00e9jame entrar.\u00a0La puerta se abre con s\u00f3lo empujarla. Es un espacio amplio, pintado de verde claro. La ventana al fondo est\u00e1 protegida por una tela de\u00a0alambre \u2026\u00a0Fruto prohibido.\u00a0En\u00a0el jard\u00edn de Margareth,\u00a0 s\u00f3lo \u201clos pensamientos\u00a0secretos\u201d se declaran testarudamente herm\u00e9ticos, mientras, sin necesidad de ser\u00a0inventada, palpita \u201cla seducci\u00f3n\u201dde una luna rojianaranjada.<\/p>\r\n

El lenguaje deber\u00eda renunciar a definirla. Porque pasa algo y se desvanece, lo que\u00a0pas\u00f3 es irrecuperable, s\u00f3lo hay ciertas huellas.El para\u00edso perdido.\u00a0Su gu\u00eda principal es su propio deseo.\u00a0Toca mi alma. la ca\u00edda del para\u00edso.\u00a0Las\u00a0posibilidades de realizaci\u00f3n son siempre inagotables y tambi\u00e9n las de destrucci\u00f3n, como es natural.\u00a0Satisf\u00e1ceme. Es siempre el mismo acto, banal e indispensable,\u00a0deseado antes de conocerlo, antiguo y siempre repetido y siempre diferente,\u00a0encerrando en sus limitadas posibilidades todas las posibilidades, el saber que se\u00a0desconoce y se pierde en\u00a0el placer, y luego se recuerda y se adquiere como\u00a0saber.\u00a0\u00a0Despu\u00e9s del Ed\u00e9n.<\/p>\r\n

En vez de disolverse en una desaparici\u00f3n, el tiempo igualmente se concreta hastaadquirir\u00a0sabor a para\u00edso,\u00a0cierta textura densa y cerrada,\u00a0anhelo de para\u00edso, dentro\u00a0de la que la ilusi\u00f3n y la fuerza del movimiento mantiene y retorna \u201ca la carna natal, a\u00a0la semilla, al soplo uteridor \u2026 a la tierra extraviada \u2026 al aroma dulce de la almendra\u201d.<\/p>\r\n

Seguro que Degeling empez\u00f3 como una rebelli\u00f3n y conforme fueron pasando los dias, los a\u00f1os y los da\u00f1os todo fue complic\u00e1ndose y haci\u00e9ndose cada vez m\u00e1s\u00a0seria en su empe\u00f1o de tejer en el tiempo una verdad reversible, a trav\u00e9s de la\u00a0pintura, el grabado, el dibujo y el arte objeto.Regreso al para\u00edso.<\/p>\r\n
