ARTIST STATEMENT
<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

News 2021:<\/strong> Click at ‘Art Installation’<\/strong> (Chewing FUN), ‘Photography’, ‘Objects’<\/strong> to see my latest artworks of 2020 and 2021.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

After working for 10 years in Trade and Industry, in 1990 I decided
to make works of art and work and live as visual artist.<\/p>\r\n

In order to understand the meaning and importancy of Contemporary Art,
I studied history of art for 4 years,\u00a0from 1990 untill 1994.
Also, in that particular time, I have been working under supervision of a professional artist, who became my teacher, \u00a0in order to obtain the necessary skills in drawing, painting, etching, a.o. Most important goal was to develop my own “picture language”.<\/p>\r\n

My admiration is for the narrative art and technical proficiency of REMBRANDT, especially because of the briljant light\/dark aspect in his work, for the renacence artist “MICHELANGELO”, because of his briljant colours and for the baroque art of RUBENS, because of his phenomenal compositions.<\/p>\r\n

DESCRIPTION OF MY WORK OF ART<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Since it is not my intention to create “true reality”, but to provoke a certain
atmosphere and\u00a0emotion, both figurative as well as abstract elements,
play an important role in my work.<\/p>\r\n

THEMES AND TECHNIQUES<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

As Visual Artist, it has never been my desire to become a ‘One trick Pony’.\u00a0Depending on each Theme, I decide which techniques will be best to use, in order to make visual artworks, which relate directly to any subject. Therefore I use all kind of various techniques and materials, which can be Painting, Drawing, Sculptures, Embroyderies, Art Installations, Objects, Photography or a mix of these materials.<\/p>\r\n

DECLARACI\u00d3N DEL ARTISTA<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

A f\u00edn de ver mis nuevas obras de arte, click y mira ‘Photography’.<\/p>\r\n

Despu\u00e9s de trabajar 10 a\u00f1os\u00a0en Industria y Negocios, en\u00a01990,
he decidido de hacer obras de arte y de hacerse artista.<\/p>\r\n

A f’in de comprender la intenci\u00f3n y la importancia de Arte\u00a0Contempor\u00e1neo,
he estudiado la historia de arte para\u00a04 a\u00f1os, desde hace 1990 a 1994.
Tambi\u00e9n, en el m\u00edsmo per\u00edodo, he trabajado con otro artista de Los Pa\u00edses Bajos, qui\u00e9n fuera mi profesor,\u00a0con el objeto de adquirir las habilidades
necesarias a f\u00edn de \u00a0hacer dibujos, pinturas, aguafuertes, e.o. y lo m\u00e1s importante,de desarrollar mi propia “lengua pictural”.<\/p>\r\n

Mi admiraci\u00f3n es para el arte narrativo y las habilidades t\u00e9cnicas de REMBRANDT, especialmente para el aspecto luminoso y obscuro en sus obras, el artista\u00a0“MICHELANGELO” por causa de sus colores\u00a0luminosos
y el arte baroque de RUBENS, por raz\u00f3n de sus composiciones formidables.<\/p>\r\n

DESCRIPCION DE LAS OBRAS<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Puesto que, no tengo la intenci\u00f3n de crear \u201cla verdad realista\u201d, pero evocar una esfera cierta y un sentimiento muy especial, tanto elementos figurativos como elementos abstractos, hacen m\u00edsmo papel en mis obras.<\/p>\r\n

TEMAS Y T\u00c9CNICAS<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Siempre depende de cada Tema diferente, cuyos materiales voy a usar, a f\u00edn de hacer obras de arte visuales, relacionadas a todo asunto. Por supuesto, en mi trabajo, uso materiales\u00a0 muy diferentes c\u00f3mo Pintura, Dibujo, Escultura, Instalaci\u00f3nes de Arte, Obras bordadas, Objetos o Fotograf\u00eda.<\/p>\r\n
